The thing is we don't ACTUALLY know if its AJ's parents or just a picture of two ponies that resemble the human painting of similar theme. I do like to believe it is her parents though. If only they had a picture with one of the Apple kids in it too.

Rarity's, Twilight's, and Pinky Pie's parents have all been shown... but
Fluttershy and Applejack's haven't that I remember.... I wonder if they will show up at some piont? Which episode did this appear in?
